Trip Logistics

All sailing adventures depart from the beach at Cowpet Bay. Coming from anywhere on St Thomas follow directions to the Ritz Carlton, then drive to the public parking lot at the Elysian/Caribbean Fish House. Park and you are steps from the Cowpet Bay public beach. Here you will board our inflatable dinghy and motor out to Trinity III our beautiful Pearson 37 sailboat…and off you go onto sailing paradise. 

Half Day Sailing Options

We can depart anytime between 10:00 am and noon and sail for four hours. 

​Rate: $100 per person (limited to 4 or fewer passengers)

Full Day Sailing Options

We will depart by 10:00 am and return by 5:00 pm  

Rate:  $150 per person (limited to 4 or fewer passengers)

How to Get the Most Out of Your St. John Sailing Cruise

Safety Tips:

  • Sun Protection: Remember to bring your hats and sun protection lotion, Caribbean sun is powerful!

  • Towels: If swimming and or snorkeling, please bring your own towels 

  • Seasickness: We suggest you consider taking Dramamine or equivalent prior to sailing if you are concerned about seasickness

  • Food Containers: Soft edges are a key to a safe voyage, so only Soft Fabric Coolers can come aboard

  • Beverages:  Complementary water, Gatorade, Coke and Diet Coke are available on board, but due to

    Safety Policies No Alcohol and No Glass Containers are permitted. No Exceptions. 

  • Smoking: No smoking is permitted aboard 

  • Shoes: Please wear non-marking shoes 

Activities:

  • Dining: You can have a wonderful lunch at Lovango Cay which offers a full-service restaurant for lunch. Reservations are required. 

  • Snorkeling Equipment: Masks and snorkels provided at no extra charge

  • Guided vs. Un-Guided Hiking Tours: If you would like to go hiking on St John, we recommend a guided tour by Captain Bruno. Please RSVP.

  • Hiking Equipment: You can take time to hike, but please bring your own hiking shoes/equipment

Comfort Tips:

  • Bathroom Facilities: A working marine toilet aboard the boat

  • Outdoor Shower: A freshwater cockpit shower is available for rinsing off after swimming or hiking

  • Food: Please bring your own lunch

  • Keeping Food Fresh: A Sea Frost refrigeration system will keep your food cool
